Caroline Mirkes is a Luxembourgish composer, cellist, pianist and actress. She was a Fulbright Grantee at New York University, where she graduated with a master's degree in cello performance in May 2018. Already dring her studies in Brussels, Barcelona and NYC, she organised various art events, like the ART UNDER THE ROOF lounges in Brussels, the CONTEMPORARY ART SALON in Brooklyn and the CONCERT IN THE DARK in Luxembourg. In 2020 she created her first festival CELLO SEASON which took place at the iconic Valentiny Foundation in Remerschen (L). As a cellist, Caroline played in the Orchester der Bad Hersfelder Festspiele, the Cello Octet Luxembourg, the gFlott Band, the Duo Miteinander and the Outdoor Performing Arts Group. Caroline is currently producing her piano album MUSICAL POEMS with own compositions.

Besides her musical studies, Caroline has done a two-year training as an actress at the Schauspielschule Wien as well as a semester at the Lee Strasberg Institute in NYC (go to the actress profile here: and trains in dance improvisation, dance acrobatics and aerial silk. Caroline also played jazz piano for many years and holds a superior diploma for classical piano from the Conservatory of Luxembourg.
